Donations
The Manuel Álvarez Bravo Association was founded in March 2005 as a non-profit organization whose purpose is to protect, preserve and promote the archive of one of the most important representatives of the history of photography in Mexico, his native country. To accomplish such goals, we request supports and donations to different institutions and people to help us complement our resources, in order to keep carrying out our services and activities. Our receipts are tax deductible. For the inventory, digitization, elaboration of catalogues and preservation of the negatives archives, we currently count with the support of ADABI de México (Support for the Development of Mexico’s Archives and Libraries), FONCA (National Fund for Culture and the Arts), Consejo Nacional para Cultura y las Artes (National Council for Culture and the Arts), the Cultural Commission from the Chamber of Deputies, and the Sistema Nacional de Fototecas del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (National Phototec System from the National Institute for Anthropology and History). If you would like to join our sponsors or collaborate in any way with our activities, which include exhibitions in Mexico and abroad, you may contact Aurelia Alvarez Urbajtel, by phone:Mexico City (52 55) 56 58 46 45 or by e-mail to the Association: info@manuelalvarezbravo.orgg |
