Wanted.
Unpublished portraits by Manuel Álvarez Bravo

Something more than five years lasted the cataloging of the negatives in the archives of Manuel Álvarez Bravo. Among many other images, we were struck by an important number of portraits that could be dated in the thirties, forties and fifties of the last century. We had fun trying to guess what they were doing or who these characters might have been
"Wanted.Unpublished portraits by Manuel Álvarez Bravo" has no artistic purpose; it's a file job. Its main task is the identification of the people portrayed by Don Manuel.
We think the dissemination of archive material, as long as it is reasoned, makes it a living archive. The meaning of our work is to give dynamism and novelty to Don Manuel’s, especially as it is aimed at new generations.
